º Seattle
Branding Association
Welcome, and thank you for your patience during
the humble beginnings of the SBA. Conceived in 2001, the SBA has
sought to extend the field of branding to
the local business and academic communities by freely providing resources
to anyone with an interest in branding. For 2008, the SBA hopes to
achieve some basic feats over the next few months.
Initially, this will include finishing the web site, developing
guidelines, provide insightful (and humorous) articles, host
lectures, and act as a message
board for jobs, training, events, referrals, etc.
If you would like
to assist the SBA in growing to become the local resource for everything
Branding, we would certainly like to hear from you. We are constantly
looking for new blood. Speakers, authors, designers, marketers,
branders, students, or anyone
with a passionate interest in branding, are encouraged to join
us as volunteer members.
We are also searching for branding professionals willing
to share their expertise and
time in a mentorship capacity to young students which we receive
requests for on a monthly basis.
Have an event, lecture, book release party, or forum planned?
e-mail us and we'll post it.
The SBA is in the process of being granted 501c
NPO status.
